Description
LearnEnglish Teens is a very generous site aiming at improving teens’ English language level in an attractive way. The website is free and can help improve students’ English with language practice, tips for exams, grammar and vocabulary exercises, games and videos on current and interesting topics. Students are invited to: • Do the level test and then find pages that are the right level for them. • Use the menu links at the top of every page to explore the site and see what materials are on offer. • Use the search button at the top-right of every page to find topics of interest to them. The materials are organised according to language levels and skills. Thus, here students can find practice materials and activities to improve their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, which will help them do well at school, get good marks in English tests and exams, communicate with other teens while having fun. On LearnEnglish Teens students can do online exercises with automatic answers which also have a physical version. Students can also interact with other teenagers from all around the world and share opinions on topics of their interest. The activities can be done individually at school or at home but also in pairs and all of them encourage discussions thanks to their topics. The site could be used with students at risk of demotivation because the online interactive activities can be chosen according to students’ language level and their topics are interesting to students. The materials on the site can be used and applied in a fully virtual/at distance teaching context and in a blended learning environment.
