Methodological Guidelines

The Methodological Guidelines promote inclusion of students at risk and underachieving via the application of digital technologies and virtual teaching and learning. The guidelines aim at increasing teachers and school leaders understanding of the dynamics that might lead underachieving students to lose motivation and involvement in school activities because of the different obstacles that might affect them.

The Guidelines are divided in three Modules:

  • - Module 1: Factual Background which highlights the main issues and difficulties teachers, and by consequence students, faced regarding online education during the pandemic
  • - Module 2: Methodological Strategies dealing with the importance of developing digital skills to manage virtual lessons identifying correct educational approaches
  • - Module 3: Lesson Plans which present 12 lesson plans developed to be implemented in class to face and overcome digital difficulties in education
