Description
• - Mentimeter. It is an app that is used to create presentations with real-time feedback. -TubeQuizard. It lets you create interactive listening quizzes based on subtitled Youtube videos.. Lessons ate for both the face to face format and the online one
Procedure on how to put in practice
Selected activities

Step-by-step description:
1- Speen the wheel
Discuss 10 minutes
Teacher shows on the IWB a Mentimeter game and asks Ss to open it by using the Qr code.
Ss are asked to answer personally using past tenses. Teacher writes on the blackboard the answers.
Ss use their own mobile phones to spin the wheel and voluntarily answer to the questions.
The questions could be:
Where were you last night?
How did you get to school yesterday?
Have you ever met a famous person? When?
What was your first day at school like?
Could you tell me something about Tom Holland?

Than T shows on the IWB some timelines to explain the differences among these past tenses

Practice 30 minutes
T gives Ss handouts containing structured exercises. The students work in pairs and T constantly monitors Ss and offers support when needed.

T plays a video about Ed Sheeran on TubeQuizard twice on the IWB. Some past tenses are missing.

Ss will be given handouts with the transcription of the dialogue. Ss watch the video and try to find the missing verbs

Discuss 15 minutes
T writes some questions about Ed Sheeran's story on the IWB and asks Ss to practice speaking by answering them.
Students answer the questions and discuss them altogether

when did it happen?
What was he doing? ....

Produce
25 minutes
"T divides Ss into groups of 5 and gives them handouts. The first part of the story is already written, the second part is for them to invent. The Ss upload their stories on Padlet. "
"Last summer my cousin decided to go on a road trip across America...."
Discuss 10 minutes
At the end, each group will assess the other groups' story
